This is my favorite brush cleaning tool! If you’re not using one, you should be! Get one here. This is How to Clean Your Coil Brush Cleaning Tank.
Dump the contents and remove the coil by twisting and pulling it up through the top, you may need to push a brush up under it to wedge it out.
A hand sprayer is handy 😉
Especially if you’re coil is used for oil-paints- Use a degreaser such as Dawn to clean the tank and coil. Fill the tank with bubbles then swish the coil around in there, let them sit for a couple minutes.
Remove the coil again and rinse everything and set out on paper towel to dry.
Put the coffee filter down into your clean, dry tank, then add the coil to set down in the filter.
